So the past couple of months there has been a gentle breeze blowing through by these winds of change. I chose to ignore them. They have now escalated to a full force category GRABAHOLD n DONTLETGO! I am now in the middle of an interesting time. Move on from this point - roll the dice - don't look back! RIGHT! ARE YOU CRAZY? Well that is how I felt for a day or two. Now I am back to feeling like I am standing on the other side of the glass looking back in my life. Do you ever get that feeling? Like you are having a serious out of body experience - seriously! (Hey you in the back there - STOP LAUGHING) ANYWHO! I am at a point where I am standing on the ledge, the winds are picking up again, I have my wings ready to open and soar to where God has planned for me.
No I don't have the slightest idea which direction to steer. No I don't have an inkling about why? I only know that these winds are blowing and I feel like Dorothy spinning around inside the hurricane! Okie dokie - it is time to head to mi casa! May God blessed your travel!
So you see how productive I have been! I forgot to finish this post on Saturday. This weekend I spent it cleaning and reorganizing the bedroom closets and dresser drawers. This involved getting pulling out clothes and shoes I have not worn in a year, hanging up clothes that needed hanging up, and doing the same thing with hubby's clothes. I ran out of hangers and I was almost done with that part so I could get the socks, undergarments, and etc that needed folded and put in drawers finally put up and out of sight. (One of my bad habits - not putting things away as soon as the dryer finishes) . I am quite proud of the progress I have made in that area. I also did not wash any more clothes and will not until I get all of these put up. That means I need to get my rear in gear - LOL.
The next project is to tackle my studio that has been uprooted and flipped over and basically unorganized chaos has erupted and continues to throw a party. I am excited about the change in life and know that God has me safely in His Arms!
May God bless!
The Beginning
Starting doing beading in @1995 after getting alcohol poisoning while out partying with friends. It is a talent that God gave me to keep me from trying to kill myself (literally through binge drinking and then driving while drunk) From broken to Reborn, from lost to Found, God gave me this talent to make jewelry and I didn't realize how relevant it was to my life until I was listening to the radio praising God and this song came on (of course I forgot the name and such) but it talked about taking the old and making it new again. God did that with me as I do that with my jewelry! I love taking old broken pieces and recreating something new and exciting. If the necklace doesn't have earrings with it, I can make some to go with it. Romans 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of death. vs 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. It only through Jesus can we be truly changed, He alone has all power to deliver us from the bondage of sin and give us new life.
And while this started out as Jewelry, it has become a creative outlet in Bible Journaling and other crafts. Keep God number one in everything you do!
