The Beginning

Starting doing beading in @1995 after getting alcohol poisoning while out partying with friends. It is a talent that God gave me to keep me from trying to kill myself (literally through binge drinking and then driving while drunk) From broken to Reborn, from lost to Found, God gave me this talent to make jewelry and I didn't realize how relevant it was to my life until I was listening to the radio praising God and this song came on (of course I forgot the name and such) but it talked about taking the old and making it new again. God did that with me as I do that with my jewelry! I love taking old broken pieces and recreating something new and exciting. If the necklace doesn't have earrings with it, I can make some to go with it. Romans 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of death. vs 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. It only through Jesus can we be truly changed, He alone has all power to deliver us from the bondage of sin and give us new life.
And while this started out as Jewelry, it has become a creative outlet in Bible Journaling and other crafts. Keep God number one in everything you do!

Thankful Tuesday

I saw this and it just spoke worlds of wonder and amazement to my heart.  It is simple yet effective! I pray that God relieves any FEARs you have about what ever trial you are facing today!  Worry and Stress steal our time, our energy, and our love that God deserves and longs to receive.  I know with all my heart and without a doubt that God will and can move mountains for His children when He is taken out of the box WE keep Him in until we need HIM!  Don't use God only in emergencies! Take hold of His Hand and Walk with Him DAILY, HOURLY, MINUTE BY MINUTE!

I Love You!

Make It Monday

Good morning, friends, family, and anyone who is just joining!  This blog has seen better days.  I have neglected it long enough.  Today I saw a post on Facebook that opened my eyes and my heart back to why God put me on this 3rd rock from the Sun.  To share my love with others.  To be a better part to their lives. To make a difference, no matter how small!

Today is the day for change!  (Of course, I would be fighting some bug). Today is the chance to wipe your slate clean and begin refreshed.  God has taken care of your sins and washed you in His blood!  He is the reason behind the rebirth!  God is simply amazing!  You don't have to have a PhD in Physics (paging Dr. Cooper, Dr. Sheldon Cooper).  You just have to have FAITH and believe!  Believe that it is possible for someone to exists that LOVES you so much that He sent HIS ONLY SON to DIE for our SINS (you, me, your parents, your uncle's cousin's aunt's son's brother's daughter (not sure how they are related to you?), your neighbor, the person standing behind you at Wal-Mart) so that WE can have EVERLASTING LIFE!  I know, RIGHT!  Are you speechless?  I was the first time I heard that.  Why?  Because I didn't think anyone, not even my parents, LOVED me.  I thought I was unlovable, useless, good for nothing, NOBODY.  Boy, I didn't know how wrong I was!  And I am so glad too!

I spent my elementary, primary, junior high and high school days like so many have and still do.  BELIEVING that I was WORTHLESS!  I didn't figure out how wrong I was until it was too late.  These days have come and gone, I can't get back the time I lost worrying about how little I thought I mattered.  When in reality, I mattered more than I ever knew!  Because of me, things have changed.  Not just in school but in my life, in other's lives.  AMAZING!

Since today and every Monday until God changes the direction of my life AGAIN (He is always moving me around and pointing me in different directions),  it will be known as Make It Monday.  It could be a craft, or it could be something personal, like making a change.

For this week, I invite you to step forward and make a change.  Ask God to come into your life.  I see the fear on your face.  If I make that change, what is going to happen to me?  You will see that it no longer becomes what about me, it becomes what about someone else.  It becomes how do I make a difference.  Remember you have to take little steps,  God will help you change more as time goes by. He knows we aren't perfect.  He just wants our love.

I challenge you to become second and check out www.iamsecond.com.  Take the 22 day challenge.  Start reading the Bible through www.youversion.com with a daily reading plan.  Today, MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN!

Winds of Change

So the past couple of months there has been a gentle breeze blowing through by these winds of change.  I chose to ignore them.  They have now escalated to a full force category GRABAHOLD n DONTLETGO!  I am now in the middle of an interesting time.  Move on from this point - roll the dice - don't look back!  RIGHT!  ARE YOU CRAZY?  Well that is how I felt for a day or two.  Now I am back to feeling like I am standing on the other side of the glass looking back in my life.  Do you ever get that feeling?  Like you are having a serious out of body experience - seriously!  (Hey you in the back there - STOP LAUGHING)  ANYWHO!  I am at a point where I am standing on the ledge, the winds are picking up again,  I have my wings ready to open and soar to where God has planned for me.
No I don't have the slightest idea which direction to steer. No I don't have an inkling about why?  I only know that these winds are blowing and I feel like Dorothy spinning around inside the hurricane!  Okie dokie - it is time to head to mi casa!  May God blessed your travel!

So you see how productive I have been!  I forgot to finish this post on Saturday.  This weekend I spent it cleaning and reorganizing the bedroom closets and dresser drawers.  This involved getting pulling out clothes and shoes I have not worn in a year, hanging up clothes that needed hanging up, and doing the same thing with hubby's clothes.  I ran out of hangers and I was almost done with that part so I could get the socks, undergarments, and etc that needed folded and put in drawers finally put up and out of sight.  (One of my bad habits - not putting things away as soon as the dryer finishes) .  I am quite proud of the progress I have made in that area.  I also did not wash any more clothes and will not until I get all of these put up.  That means I need to get my rear in gear - LOL.

The next project is to tackle my studio that has been uprooted and flipped over and basically unorganized chaos has erupted and continues to throw a party.  I am excited about the change in life and know that God has  me safely in His Arms!

May God bless!

So much for the Resolution/ changes

Boy did I goof up trying to give myself a plan for this blog!  LOL!  I really wanted to try to keep up with it and blog at least every other day.  So much for that!  Today is an ok day!  I am still in a contemplative stage because I know I need to change but unsure of the direction of this change.  UP down RiGhT or LefT.
I am trying to get my head wrapped around my job.  I was given a 3 month probation.  Seems I am not doing everything to their liking.  Well you can't force people to come to your meetings but I am going to give it my all and that is all I can do.  I hope everyone has a blessed day!

Resolutions?

Oh boy, it is already January 5th and if I had made a resolution it would have already been broken.  I decided not to make a resolution but to make a dedication.  I am going to dedicate each day to be good no matter how I feel physically, mentally or emotionally.  I am going to dedicate to writing in my blog daily.  I am going to dedicate to stay planned at work and not become frazzled.  I am going to dedicate my life to following God and spreading His Light and Love.
I know there will be days that I miss and there will be days when I write the "War and Peace" of posts.  Here is my post plan for 2012:
Make it Monday - Share a DIY that inspires my soul and hopefully moves yours in the process.  It may be a simple hour project to a week long project.
Thankful Tuesday - Share an act of kindness with my friends.
Words of Wisdom Wednesday- Share words that inspire, motivate, encourage or delight my friends.
Tasty Thursday - Share a nutritious recipe.
Freebie Friday - Share freebies from other sites.
SheSpeaks Saturday - Posts from my blog with SheSpeaks.com
Spiritual Sunday - A day of rest and relaxation - through pictures, words, or music.

I hope you will join me on this new adventure!  Remember that what was once broken is now reborn!

Love you!

Happy Holidays

As I write this post, I must come to terms with this being the end of this year.  End of one journey and the beginning of a new one.  Excitement and anticipation are only a few of the emotions that envelope my days and nights as 2011 comes quickly to a close.  I am not afraid of what 2012 brings, I am quite anxious to begin a new chapter.  So here is to new friends, new adventures, and new achievements!
